Aww...I'm sorry. Not that this has anything to do with snails...but my mom used to have pretty flowers...but the deer kept eating them. One day she put a bunch of fake plants in with her real ones hoping to deter them...and they ate those too. Animals are funny like that.

You must have RUN to get your camera! Hoping beyond hope to catch the shot!
I'd like to think that I'd take this picture given the chance.

Well i was bored so was in my garden with my camera anyway, and i was actually taking pics of this snail for about 10 mins until it decided to go south, which just so happened to be the best picture of it that i got. My garden is full of snails at the moment, they have eaten most things out there....

Lure them away with beer. I know it sounds funny, but it works, on slugs too. They don't care much whether it's black or tan. They will drown in it, unless you're careful. Sounds even funnier. My granny used to rid the garden of slugs all summer long, through most of the day, even though they only come out at night!

Yeah i know about beer traps and stuff. But i dont see the point of killing them, they were in my garden before i was after all.

Beer battered escargot! Nah! Pictures are just better! Oh! Look at =negromante's new works! He must have spent a small fortune on his equipment.

Equipment costs mount up quickly, however all my work has been done with a 70 camera

I don't know how much 70 pounds is. I know! How many megapixels is it at it's high-res? And how long have you had it. I can do that math. I got 6.0 mpx in March. I got half of it paid for by mom for my birthday. I just couldn't afford the Olympus. Most of my pix are over at ~markopolio-stock. Mostly pretty things for my wife. The busted windshield came out a lot better than I had thought. I almost deleted it.

70 is about $129 in todays exchange, but as for cameras over here its one of the cheaper ones. My camera is a 4 megapixel camera with a 5.5-16.2 mm zoom. I will check out your other website.
